Who these terms cover

These terms apply when you use vrsjo.com, VRS Recruit at app.vrsjo.com, Syndeo at app.syndeo.cloud, or any other service provided by VRS — Verified Recruitment Solutions (“VRS”, “we”, “us”), together the “Services”. By using the Services you agree to these terms.

If you use the Services for an organisation, you accept these terms on its behalf and confirm you are authorised to. Where your organisation has a signed agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence wherever it differs from these terms.

Accounts

Give accurate information when you create an account, keep your sign-in details secure, and tell us promptly at hamzah@vrsjo.com if you think your account has been misused. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Your organisation’s administrators decide who can access its workspace.

Acceptable use

When using the Services, you must not:

• break the law, or help anyone else to;
• send spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
• upload malware, try to gain unauthorised access, or probe, overload or disrupt the Services;
• infringe anyone’s rights, or process personal data you have no lawful basis to process;
• discriminate unlawfully against candidates or employees;
• copy, reverse-engineer or resell the Services, except where the law or a written agreement with us allows it.

We may remove content or suspend access that breaches these rules.

Your data

You keep all rights to the data you put into the Services (“Customer Data”). You allow us to host, process and transmit it only to provide the Services to you, to keep them secure, and to meet our legal obligations. You are responsible for having the right to use the data you upload, including giving any notice or getting any consent that candidates and contacts are owed. We handle personal data as our Privacy Policy describes.

Third-party services

The Services can connect to services run by others, such as Google and Microsoft. When you connect one, you authorise us to access it on your behalf, as that feature describes, and your use of it is governed by that provider’s own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and we may stop supporting an integration if its provider changes or withdraws it. How we handle information received from Google is set out in Google user data.

Fees

Fees for recruitment services and for paid use of our apps are those agreed with you in writing — in a proposal, order form or contract. Unless that agreement says otherwise, invoices are payable within the period stated on them, and fees exclude taxes. Features we offer without charge may change or end.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the Services available and secure, but they are provided as they are and as available: we do not promise that they will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, improve or retire features. If a change materially reduces a Service you pay for, we will give you reasonable notice.

Our property

The Services, their software, and the VRS and Syndeo names and designs belong to VRS or its licensors. These terms give you a right to use the Services, not ownership of them. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect the Services or other users; where it is reasonable to, we will warn you first. When access ends, you can ask us for an export of your Customer Data within thirty days, after which we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, VRS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from the Services. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service concerned in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The courts of Amman have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from the Services.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, tell account holders before they take effect. Using the Services after that means you accept the updated terms.
